Hurun Global Art List 2025, a ranking of the Top 50 artists in the world alive today, based on the sales of their works at public auction in the year ending 31 December 2024. This is the sixth year of the Hurun Global Art List.

The Hurun Research Institute today launched the HENGCHANG XIANGSHANG · Hurun China Art List 2025, a ranking of the Top 100 Chinese living artists based on the sales of their works at public auction in the year ending 31 December 2024. The report includes the Hurun Best-Selling Chinese Artists 2024, a list of the 100 best-selling artists from China, including both living and deceased artists.

The Hurun Research Institute today launched the HENGCHANG SHAOFANG · Hurun Global Art List 2024, a ranking of the Top 50 artists in the world alive today, based on the sales of their works at public auction in the year ending 31 December 2023. This is the fifth year of the Hurun Global Art List. USA led with 15 artists, followed by China with 11 and UK with 9. German artist Gerhard Richter, 92, topped Hurun Global Art List for third year running, with sales last year of his works of art at public auction around the world of US$214mn.

The Hurun Research Institute today launched the Hurun Global Art List 2023, a ranking of the Top 50 artists in the world alive today, based on the sales of their works at public auction in the year ending 31 December 2022. This is the fourth year of the Hurun Global Art List. German artist Gerhard Richter, 91, topped the list with US$230mn in sales.
